Ta'Ali was born at the end of the civil war in Liberia. He grew up in an area with no school or healthcare facilities. When Ta'Ali got the opportunity to go to school he thrived. Ta'Ali became a leader among his peers and he was selected to receive a scholarship to university and leadership training to further enhance his leadership abilities.

Ta'Ali graduated from one of the top universities in Liberia. Seeing the multitude of sicknesses in his community as a result of abandoned trash, Ta'Ali decided to begin one of the first-ever trash collection and recycling companies in the country! Ta'Ali is now using his expanding trash collection and recycling business to employ youth living on the streets and then mentoring them to help them reach their full potential.
